Feature and Follow #1

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Q: Happy Father's Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?

Mmmh that's a tough one! All my readers must know that I'm madly in love with "The Mortal Instruments" series so, my favourite dad character in a book is Luke Garroway! I loved him since the first moment his character appeared in the story, is an understanding man, who always has the perfect advice to give you:

"Do you think it's possible to do something so bad, even if you didn't mean to do it, that you can never come back from it? That no one can forgive you?"

Luke looked at him for a long, silent moment. Then he said, "Think of someone you love, Simon. Really love. Is there anything they could ever do that would mean you would stop loving them?"

Cassandra Clare- City of Fallen Angels

Moreover I was so surprised by how much he loves both Clary and Jocelyn, to the point of accepting someone elses' daughter and raising her. In a few words, I love him because he's always kind to everyone, he takes care of everyone, his family, his pack, his friends but, despite this, he's also a brave man, who was able to kill to achieve what he was searching for and to make tough decisions withouth thinking too much about it. He inspires me a sense of reassurance, like I could say anything to him and he would be the classic Dad who would help you getting through, whatever the problem is! :3

Happy follow Friday!!

  17. Good choice!
Mine would have to be Bella's dad, Charlie Swan, from Twilight. He has such an amazing, dry sense of humour. He was the character who I really enjoyed as he had such fantastic one liners.
